Community Care for Collective Well-Being

By providing barrier-free access to diapers, baby wipes, and menstrual products for young people, Care Collective supports multigenerational well-being. Care Collective distributes products through partner organizations with a focus on collaborations with BIPOC and LGBTQIA-led organizations.

We Can’t Do It Alone. No One Can.

Our Impact

Founded in November 2022, Care Collective has been hard at work building a solid and equitable foundation that seeks to end diaper need and period poverty in Southwest Michigan. Through our partnerships with BIPOC and LGBTQIA-led organizations, we’ve been able to accomplish some incredible things. It feels like the work is just beginning, and we want you along for the ride.

Care

“Care” reflects our commitment to caring for our community’s young people. We provide diapers and menstrual products over the course of their childhood and teenage years. And it means ensuring caregivers have one less thing to worry about when their children have access to the products they need.

Collective

“Collective” reflects our belief that real impact is possible when we work together. That’s why we partner with community organizations, volunteers, supporters, and recipients, with a shared vision of a community where everyone’s basic needs are met.

Care Starts at Birth

The words “Care” and “Collective” reflect our commitment to organizing and advocating for racial, economic, gender, and social justice to ensure every child in our community has the opportunity to thrive. For us, that work begins at childbirth, with the mission of giving every child the diapers they need to stay dry, clean, and healthy.

A Continuum of Care

From diapers to pads, basic needs evolve, not expire. We provide period products for young people to ensure they can grow, participate in school, and seize life's opportunities without shame and discomfort.
