It's Time to Shout About Periods!
Period Poverty Awareness Week is here!
This year we are incredibly fortunate to have the support of an anonymous donor for Period Poverty Awareness Week! Until May 18th, your donations will be matched by this generous donor, up to $4,000! If you’ve been thinking about donating to Care Collective, there has, quite literally, never been a better time. It’s a bold mission, but together we can end period poverty in Southwest Michigan!
Speaking of menstruation, this is your last call to buy tickets for OvaryActing! This Wednesday, we’re hosting an evening of menstruation stories from people in your community and we would love to see you there. Stories start at 5:30; doors open at 5 pm. We’ll have snacks, stories, and some fun opportunities to help end period poverty!
If you can’t make it to OvaryActing or aren’t able to donate, don’t worry! There are other ways to help end period poverty. We’re always in need of volunteers; you can join our volunteer mailing list below!
If you aren’t able to volunteer, there is one more thing you can do for us: talk about menstruation. Caring for menstruators starts with caring about menstruation. Help us reduce stigma and pave the way for a new generation of menstrual equity!
One last thing:
Follow us on social media to get a complete picture of the Care Collective journey! You might be missing out on Sarah getting a little bullied.
