Stigma-breaking Storytelling.

For Period Poverty Awareness Week, we’re hosting a different kind of fundraising event.

OvaryActing is a night dedicated to telling stories about menstruation. From empowering to unpleasant, funny to a little bleak, we’ve got an hour of stories from folks in your community. Join us May 14th from 5 pm to 7 pm to break the stigma surrounding menstruation!

Enjoy snacks while listening to community members share their stories! Tickets are $20 and there will be additional opportunities to donate at the event—including our first ever merch drop! Doors open at 5 pm; stories run from 5:30 to 6:30.

If you have any questions about this event, please contact J Ludeker at outreach@carecollectiveswmi.org.
