A Chance to Volunteer with Your Kids!
Haven’t volunteered at Care Collective yet? We’ve got two new opportunities aiming to fix that.
We’ve always been a family-friendly organization, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be even family-friendlier. On Saturday, April 12th (9:00 to 11:00 am), we’re hosting Care Together, a volunteer event for kids and caregivers only! Kids are always welcome at volunteer events, but this is the first time we’re hosting an event designed exclusively for children 12 and under (and their grown-ups)!
Introducing young kids to volunteering is important to us and giving them a patient space to learn is essential. If you do not have children, we ask that you do not attend this event and instead wait for the next public volunteer opportunity.
And speaking of our next volunteer event, we’re having a regular public event on Tuesday, April 22nd from 5 pm to 7 pm! There’s nothing special about this one, aside from all of the things that already make it special. We’d love to see you there, with or without your kids.
If you can’t make it to one of these events, consider donating to make your impact today!
In case you missed it:
Despite everything going on, Care Collective is doing well. We owe our continued existence to the incredible support our community has given us.
